In webinar one - Tony will discuss the following topics
- Natural disasters – application of the emergency response rules, tax treatment of repair costs, insurance proceeds and damaged assets.
- Resource consents – including deductibility of expenditure, assigning value in a sale agreement
- Farms with forestry – review of the tax rules applying to the sale of forestry assets, forestry rights and emissions units.

Tony is a member of the Chartered Accountants Australia New Zealand Rural Sector Committee, which advocates for the rural sector on a wide variety of issues on behalf of its members, this ensures that he is up to date and well versed on issues facing rural New Zealand.
Tony is one of the authors of the Farming, Forestry and Fishing Tax Guide published by Wolters Kluwer.
