Description
This webinar will provide an overview of the importance of estate planning from a tax and legal perspective, as well as items to consider in discussions with clients.
After purchasing property or investing in a new business venture many people often overlook the importance of estate planning. A will, although often considered a simple document, is extremely important and makes administering an estate much easier. At a time when the family is grieving, dealing with their loved ones estate can be daunting and difficult especially if they do not have any guidance given through a will.
Often will-makers have trusts and businesses in addition to the assets in their personal name, all which needs to be carefully considered in their estate planning. Without a will the cost of administering the estate increase with applications to the Court causing delays and costing money.
