- Sources of taxable income: Business income, PAYE income, schedular income and investment income
- Expenses: Relationship to income nexus, specific non-deductible expenses, interest deductibility including property limitation rules and capital expenditure & depreciation
Part 2: (Presented by Jamie & Jack)
- Income Tax: Income allocation methods, tax returns
- Provisional Tax: Overview, methods and payment dates
- Imputation Credits: What are they?, Accounts, Dividends
- GST returns: Registration, taxable supplies, input deductions, calculation & returns, filing frequency & basis
- PAYE: Filing requirements
